Gday, i was wondering i have a holden 3.8l vn manual, cold air intake, 2.5inch exhaust lade lade dar, but what i really need is a performance chip to take advantage of these mods. Although with petrol at $2.21 a litre atm i dont see that happening. Is there anyway you could install 2 chips (1 factory, 1 say a stage 4 burn out chip) and also install a switch to switch between the chips? Only asking this because my mates vl now goes harder then my vn now... which i dont know if i like? chur,
You can but it would be a pain in the butt. I suggest contacting Mace and getting one of their memcals. Far easier.
any good "performance chip" should make your car run better on petrol and i dont think you can have a switch between them and even if you could its probly not worth it. $2.21 a litre and i thought $1.50 a liter was bad.
