Hi guys,
Went to an exhaust place and they gave me a quote on my ve Calais 08, to put 2.5” rear delete pipes for $280-installed? just wondering what the sounding would be like and would it suit the car it’s self?

Cheers..

If your running the V6 as noted in your member's ride, it will sound terrible.

Like the sounds I made about 4 hours after I ate my expired Vindaloo the other night.

Alloytecs do not respond well to exhaust modifications, generally it sounds like fart through a milo tin.

Oh Ok, what exhaust would you recommend that will suit the car??

IMO the only good sounding exhaust on an alloytec is stock.

Any exhaust regardless of brand just amplifies the fart noise, if you do some googling you'll get the idea on youtube.

The only option I would suggest would be some SS rear mufflers, just not AFM ones.

The will give a slightly improved sound without sounding like @someguy360 's vindaloo exiting the premises.
