Installing ABS in VS ute

    I Have a VS ute without ABS and i got hold of a wrecked Supercharged Calais im taking the engine for my ute but i was wandering is it possible or worth taking the ABS system out of the Caials and putting it into the Ute while ive got the opportunity?

    Not worth it. Lot of work for no real gain.

    yer i didnt think there was much point just thought id ask cause im taking pretty much everything out of the calais that the ute doesnt have, power windows, maybe climate control, gauges, wiring loom interior etc

    FWIW, ABS would be good thing to have, especially if it only cost time. The problem is that the ute is live axle and the Calais is IRS. Both the front and rear wheel speed sensors are different between IRS and live axle, as is the ABS computer.
