I'm installing an Aerpro antenna, and I'm going to bypass the antenna module. The antenna has two wires that need 12 volts. When both wires receive 12 volts, it goes up, when it has only one wire with 12 volts, it goes down. The 2nd wire will be getting 12 volts from the headunit antenna wire, but what do I use for the other one?

Do I hook it up to a constant 12 volts? My thoughts are that if I use an accessories wire, the antenna wont go down when I turn the car off, only if I turn the stereo itself off with the car on. Will hooking it up to a constant 12 volts result in my battery draining, or will it have no effect unless the motor is moving?

Yeah might try that if the antenna wire from the radio doesnt work. Just dont want it draining my battery or anything
