Installing Clear Side Indicators (VP-VT Series1) as written by Pimpin<o =""></o>
    Parts needed:
    Clear Indicator Lenses:
    Part Number: 92147758
    Price: $36.52 (per pair)<o =""></o>

    Orange Bulbs:
    Part No: 92077791
    Price: $7.46 (pair)

    1. This is what you will have to start with. To remove your old indicators, push it towards the front of the car and outwards away from the car. They should just pop straight out. If not, you can use a flat blade screwdriver to help it, but make sure you cover it with a rag or something so you don’t scratch and damage your paint. <o =""></o>

    2. After the old indicator comes out, rotate the bulb housing until it comes free. <o =""></o>

    3. and 4. Take out the clear bulb and insert the orange bulb. <o =""></o>

    5. Put the bulb housing into the new indicator by doing the reverse of step 2. <o =""></o><o ="">
    </o>
    6. To put back in. you’ll notice on one end of the new indicator, there is a tab . Put the other end in first, and then let the tab ‘snap’ in, as you slowly push the new indicator towards the car. <o =""></o>

You can get the oval clear ones from ozeparts for about $14 a pair, if you look under VTII parts. These will fit a VR or VS. They would probably fit a VP as well because I'd assume the cut-out is the same as a VR and I've seen VP's cruising around with the clear oval lenses - which look way better.

Now for a stupid question... does anyone know where I can get the orange bulbs? Or am I gonna have to go to a Holden dealer for them?

The after market manufacturer for the clear side indicators is called "SSS" located in melbourne. I have no part numbers but SSS supply aftermarket lights to autobarn etc. chances are, if you have non genuine tail lights ir headlight glass in your VN - VS, it's probably SSS stuff.

In reply to an earlier post:

The'll fit anything from VP-VX provided it has the cutout.

...actually it was $14 each, I misread the thing on Ozeparts, which I noticed when I actually went to order them :hit:

But it's still a pretty good deal, and a cheap and quick way to make your car look a lot better.

You'd have to cut holes, and wire up indicators otherwise you'd just have these lenses sitting there for no reason.

I don't know how they'd look on a VK - coz it's a squarer design than the models that people generally do the replacements on (VP/VR/VS/VT1) it might look a bit odd? You might be better off going for the newer square ones that are on the VY/VZ if you really can't live without side indicators.
