my bet is that it isnt cheap, i dont know if its somethign you'd even bother putting in once youve got a car because im guessing they'd have to put in a new steering coulm that has the wiring in it for CC? i dunno dude, best bet is to call a dealer and ask in the morning

~300 + for the kit complete Allow up to 500-700 all up for a dealer fit.

By the kit separate and see if you can get a better price.

The loom etc is in the Column and the wiring is 'generally under the bonnet. The kit actually includes the addtional under bonnet wiring if it doesn't.

    Watch Ebay!

I have seen VY cruise control kits go for less than $200 on Ebay.

Fitting is easy if the loom is there, which I suspect it is.

It came standard on my VY S2 manual. I installed it on my VS S@ manual when I bought it in 1997, and the wiring was there because, I think, it had ABS.

I expect that the loom would already be there.

    Getting Closer to the mark!

A kit for $300 from Holden sounds about right.

Fitting for another $150 sounds a bit much. Took less than an hour in my VS S2, which included wiring mods for the microswitch on the clutch pedal.

As I said, they will proably appear on Ebay again sometime for about $200 or less. Fitting should be less than $100.

    Patience will win out.

Fitting a new cruise kit at a dealer carries a 55,000 (therabouts) warranty. Sometimes with an important part fitout like this it's worth considering.
