hey guys,

its time for me to change my hd sway bar links as one of them is shagged and that's why Im getting a clunk noise from the front.

when I bought the links, i read the service manual first to ensure I fit it correctly and I noticed in the ve service manual it says to install the shorter end to the actual sway bar and the longer end to the shock assembly tower.

What does it mean the shorter and longer end ? as the sway bar links look the same length and the threads where you screw the bolt look the same length too so whats the service manual talking about ?
