    Hey guys,

Just bought an xforce cat back system. I can't be the first to notice, but the rear muffler section where the hanging mounts are is different from the stock design. I've only noticed this on xforce exhausts.

Stock exhaust hangs on 2 prongs, whereas the xforce only seems to hang on one. Wouldn't be so much of an issue if it wasn't for the fact the single xforce hanging mount is dead centre between the exhaust tips, whereas the stock exhaust tips has the mount on either side.

    Will it/how does it fit?
To help with what I'm on about, I've attached a photo of stock vs xforce design.
    Thanks

you may have to bend it a bit to fit, adjust rubber hangers, or get an extra welded on, or use a single rubber/hanger setup

Thats just poor workmanship. Every other manufacturer seems to be able to install 2 prongs

They are made cheap, you will need to play with the mounts to get it to sit right on your car. You will also need a decent stereo to drown out the **** note....

    It's only a 2-1/4" system anyway.
Found my answer, just overlap the prongs to make the mounts a V shape and thread the 2 body prongs over the 1 exhaust one.
and I doubt it'll be making much noise at all. It's only 1/4" more free flowing and it's got hot dogs all over it.

It also looks like a second hand system.

See how the merge and the pipes just in front of it are a different colour to the rest? That means it has gotten hot there, that part of the system is very restrictive on that exhaust. Probably why it was taken off the orifginal car in the first place.

Ahh ok. But it is still restrictive at the merge.
