hey guys picked up a new cluster today from a mates Calais , and it has the 3 windows, an upgrade from my one with only 1 window.

just wondering, is it plug and play will all three windows work? or is there something i need to do, to get them all working.

also would i need to see an auto electrician to get my KM's readings from my old cluster to put onto the new one. (if thats possible)

    Hope this makes sense.

    Dan.

Not sure if it's plug and play

But the kms are only adjustable if it's a white backed VT cluster, if it's a black backed VX cluster you can't change the kms.

It will be pretty much plug and play providing it is from a vehicle with the same size engine. If not it can be recalibrated. The gear position indicator won't work though. Disconnect your battery before changing it.

if it came from an auto v6 and is going into an auto v6 you don't need to doing anything but install it

if its going from an auto v8 into a manual v8 then you need a tech2

You need to make sure that the car it came out of has the same specs as the car it is going into . Tyre size , cruise control , standard heater or climate control and number of air bags .
