I was just shopping around the net for quotes to try and get a better insurance deal and was surprised how many places wouldn't insure my car due to modifications, even though the only mods I have are spoiler, alloys, and lowered suspension (even though only to FE2 height).

I was curious - have you guys informed your insurance company of the mods done to your car and if so, which companies gave you a good deal?

We found the only place willing to insure Craig's VT was Shannons.

I had to get insurance through just cars last year, as nrma, ammi, gio, ect wouldnt even look at me, or wanted to charge me more than the value of the car. This year i decided to shop around again, and to my absolute shock nrma insured me for less than just cars, and i told them ALL my mods and got agreed value. So, i think its just a matter of shopping around each year. And dont alwayz take notice of net quotes, do them first and then ring around as they do vary for some strange reason.
