I'm thinking about selling my first car. It's a v6 VT commodore and I was wondering what people would pay for it.

In the condition you've kept it, I'd say you would around 2,500 to 3,500 for it, thats as far as I know

Compare your make and model using www.redbook.com.au or similar vehicles on carsales etc.

lots of variables here in determining value

* mileage
* paint & body condition
* interior condition
* tyre condition
* engine/trans condition etc.
* is the car stock or modified (in 9/10 cases modified lowers value slightly)

With your username being 1994 and it being your first car, I am assuming this was your car while on P's....if this is the case a tip for selling is get your parents to sell it for you.....I would never buy a car off a P plater. (most young people don't know what mechanical sympathy is etc, also nobody wants a car somebody learned to drive in)
