Ive had this Vn for a couple of years, it a NOV 88 build, i noticed the other day where some of the body deadner is coming off on the wheel well its bright orange underneath. The car was originally a Ramset Tools Reps car but i assumed it was resprayed to suit the business.

I looked at the code on the Plate:
1E028, comes up as Valencia Orange from late 70s and i cant find any record of VNs ever coming out in this colour. Just curious what the go with it is.

Yeah i was thinking they must paint cars on special request. The paint option lists are obviously never quite complete for non std options.
Cheers

Read somewhere first batch of orange cars were cancelled ordered vh commodores for telecom..something like 200 cars.Telecom changed colours no longer orange haha

Then as holden needed to dump excess 253 stock they chucked them into the papaya vh commodores & sle(381 packs) for updated efi 202 for vk model.

With holdens a lot of it came down to who you knew + cash.Other thing holden records are atrocious & factor in lots of things were done by dealerships themselves not the assembly line.
