interior door handle removal

    Hey guys, i had a search on the forum for awhile but couldnt find anything related.

    I want to change my door handles to the saturn chrome handles, does the door trim have to come off to swap them over? or is it just the screw in the middle of the handle and somehow taking the rod off the handle and pushing the new one on?

    have to take door trims off which is fairly easy

    ummm no u dont theres a screw behind the cap in the handle take that out then unhook it from the metal rod. 2 take the door trim off u need 2 take the handle off 1st anyways lol so no need.

    actually thats right, cause on vt's u have to hook the handle into that rod first before refitting the handle. my bad
