My interior fan control stopped working on any number, then started working again. It would then turn off and on but now stopped altogether. Fuse is not blown.
I have read about some only working on highest number but mine has stopped working on all numbers. I had the aircon re-gassed and compressor replaced 6 months ago then the air con light started being hard to turn off and on. Any ideas on what the issue could be? Thanks in advance.

What Varient is your Car ?

The Standard HVAC unit had a Resistor pack in behind the Glove Box,
The Climent Control HVAC have a Resistor unit with a heat sink,
They could very well be the same, as I have never had to replace one,
I only remove ours to get the Vac hose in the same opening, to get crap off Evaporator.

These can be removed and test with a Multimeter,

Mybe the Fan motor has failed,
or
there is something lodged in the fan blades, and so it is unable to turn.

Even If you had an fault with your Air Conditioning, the fan would still operate.

replace the fan its not hard to get to. the brushes in the motor and or commutator are probably worn out if its not working and you hit it with pliers or simular and it starts working that is what is wrong with it.
