Interior light mystery

VE Sv6 series II MY 12.5
Hi all, VE II Sv6 interior light does not work when I open LH rear door, I took door trim off everything connected, any ideas?

The door actuator is knackered (device that controls the locking mechanism etc)

Can be replaced for a smidge over $200 or around $50 for a 2nd hand one at a wrecker

It will, provided that section of the mechanism isn't affected

I've got the same issue with my VE, however, I can't justify spending $200+ so that the interior light switches on when the front passenger opens the door - If it becomes an issue, I'll just press the interior light switch in the sunglass holder = problem solved :)

I've got the same issue with my VE, however, I can't justify spending $200+ so that the interior light switches on when the front passenger opens the door - If it becomes an issue, I'll just press the interior light switch in the sunglass holder = problem solved :)
My passenger front was the same just sprayed some contact cleaner in the mechanism , same as i had to do with the boot light.
