Hi All,
Has anyone successfully re-glued the ceiling trim back in place without removing it?

hood lining is always a remove, repair and refit exercise.

Not fixable because the foam is breaking down all over.
Local upholstery shop will pull it out and uses the card base to fix it with new material.
I had mine done by REPAIR BULL and it’s now better than brand new.

i just use spray adhesive and glue them back
some cars have to do every 12 months, but they look like new
just wear doctors gloves when you do them as it is near impossible to get the finger prints off

you what now?

i got a cheap ($150) replacement hood lining in my VX (fitted) and it's still going easily 5 years later. I changed the colour at the time too which was nice.

I think he means redo the glue every 12 months as it’s a bandaid fix not a proper repair, I did this with my ve and seems to be holding up well
