Hi all,
Super hot day in Perth and my sons 2012 SV6 was driving fine but after parking at shops for 10 mins it wouldnt start. Nothing at all and Stability Control Error, contact dealer. RAC were called who towed it to mechanic. Next morning at mechanic it started fine. Mechanic said computer errors looked like battery so this was replaced. 4 days later another super hot day car parked in sun for 4 hours then wouldnt start again. Towed to mechanics again who have had it for a week now and cannot fix the intermittent issue. Anyone seen anything like this? Seems to be heat related. Car is black so does get very hot inside. A month or so back we replaced the centre console electric windows switch panel as after a hot day it suddenly stopped working. Hoping when replacing this we haven't done something!!
