IPod connection issues with IQ

Hey guys, just need help in connecting my iPod, embarrassing but having troubles haha...


What's happening is I connect the iPod using the USB iPod cable as the book says to, and it comes up saying iPod connected, then cutting to iPod disconnected..without me disconnecting it because when I do unplug it, it then says it's disconnected again. Not sure if any of you guys are having the same troubles or possibly if it's my iPod.

what model ipod is it?

It's a 30 gig video one, not sure on year/gen, probably 3rd or 4th gen?

- there is a list of devices - not all ipods can be linked, only some of the CLASSIC gen 5 & 6 and NANO's seem to be fully compatible

Well mines 5th gen which Holden says is compatible by USB, so I'm not too sure... Will keep trying I guess

iv had the same problem as you, mine was on and off but, most of the time working, they had to change my IQ system.. im guessing your IQ might have the same problem as mine did.

Was it a big job for them to fix? Like did they have your car for weeks? And thanks for that mate, all helps.

I'd say IQ problem lots of people have been reporting little problems here and there which you kinda expect because its new... I have a classic ipod which works fine and an iphone4 which works fine too... Cant see why your's shouldnt work
