    hey guys im about to purchase a new exhaust and part of the purchase requires me to list if i have IRS or not ive taken a couple pictures and was wondering if anyone could help me out,

    The pics above show a car that has a live axle. Definitely not IRS.

    Im gettin a redback single 2.5 inch with rear muffler , for the installation i dont think ill be doing it (cant lift the car up)

    non irs or solid rear axle is just that, one solid housing from wheel to wheel with the diff and axles inside the housing. A IRS (Independant Rear Suspension)setup has drive shafts which are connected with CV joints to the diff & to the wheel is the easiest way to describe it i guess. That means each wheel can move up or down without moving the diff or opposite side. with a solid rear axle the right wheel hitting a bump can make the opposite side move as well which in extreme case can cause a loss of traction.
