Hi, guys
I am just considering the brand new commodore SS now, but is that monster still worth it, while the complete new commodore will come in 2018.
Given the price around $55K, is there any other European or German car will do better?
Really appreciate your opinion.

If you want a real V8 commodore you better hurry, if they aren't sold out already...

That's true, but they haven't say exactly when it is the day to close down. I still struggling whether is good time to buy one of this, or should I wait for the new one.

The car that is being released by Holden in 2018 will never be a real Commodore......And it never will be to any Commodore enthusiast.
There will be......No V8, Not RWD & Not Aussie Built. It's just going to be some rebadged V6 front wheel drive piece of sh#t from overseas.

If you want a real Commodore, buy a 2017 model.
If you want a fake Commodore, buy a 2018 model.

I sometimes wonder if, way back in 1978, when the Commodore was released, German Opel enthusiasts said "No OHC, no IRS, not German built. Not a real Kommodore."

The name, after all, was theirs.

Back in 1978, the Germans who knew would have been saying “Holden ? Austria ? What ?”.
Peter Handlingburger was probably the only one who knew.
Personally, Kingswood V Commodore, I thought then and still do, that the VB – VLs were a POS.
