Talked to a chap who had done some km's in a new NG, reckons he pushed it through the gorge and it stuck to the road really well.
It got me thinking, does it matter if it is front or rear wheel drive if it has good suspension and chassis tuning as well as Traction/stability/yaw control etc.
If it sticks to the road like sh!t to a blanket, it will be fun either way. At the end of the day, the only thing missing is the sound. But if you are listening to music anyway, then . . . . . .

Personally makes me happy to be driving an over powered 94 model with ABS as it's flashest offering - reminds me how easy i can get in trouble on a regular basis.

Most people, a lot more than believe otherwise, won’t ever notice the difference.
But marketing is a Thing, people believe that unless their car can cut sick skids it’s no good. Ok sure, most of those same people will never cut sick skids, it’s the principle of the thing.

It’s not because people who vote Liberal sold everything to China for a quick buck, and only care about making a quick buck?

Oh you’re misinterpreting the tagline, that thing is aimed at homeless people.
Your are correct that's typical of Liberals, they sell everything out for their primary greed driven principals that come before anything and everything and it's true that they can't see jack past that obsession.

Yes, MINE it once or farm it forever.
Short term thinking over long term benefits for future generations.

Politicians are stupid, but we are idiots for allowing them to get away with any of it and the fact that we continue to pay them hundreds of thousands of dollars every year (while we are delaying buying fuel for an extra day because it might save a few cents per litre tomorrow) lets them think they have a mandate to sell our land, natural resources and our FUTURE....

That applies to the current Queensland Adani government too.

I have a point which hasn't been raised yet.

If local production had not closed down and the ZB had been the next locally made Commodore, would there be the same level of antipathy towards it?

I expect there would be to a degree coz no V8 but not to the current level.

Well if the politicians are stupid, the fact remains that some truly run the Party's agendas well, the underhanded deals that are going on are the worst corruption in the Australian history, fact is that they are in fact undermining what was once a healthy democracy for Marxist Socialist madness that just leads to total corruption, as history has proven is totally evil.

As the QLD Election showed that the LNP tossed away around 12 seats, so that the ALP could win. They have no intention of winning but only showed Malice to it's own traditional voter base and it sticks out like dogs balls, yet the main media have not covered this, why ? it's the biggest political story in Australia's history.
LNP handed it to the ALP on a silver platter, when they could of picked up 12 seats and the One Nation Party has not 1 seat to be a treat at all to the LNP in doing so, it proves that the LNP is acting in malice or truly is run by a Marxist Socialist agenda.

Such pricks are truly working to undermine Australia in every way and over 300,000 of us know it in QLD and many are to gutless to make a stand against this threating menace, that's acting as dictators, that have cunningly taken over our traditional Liberal Party values for what we have always despise.

Every election leaves me wondering if people are really voting for Labor or is it just "don't want to vote for the others"

The question is: Are there any politicians worth voting for?
