is it a real 250kw

i have owned my vt wagon for 4 years .it is a holden by design a has stamped id in engine bay vtg it has 250ls1 badge on tailgate.the previous owner told me it is all factory fitted .but how can i tell if it is a real 250 kw

The 5.7 came out in the VTseries 2 (does it have series 2 badges on it?) and I recall it being 220kw at the time. The HSV was advertised in the VT2 brochure as having a 250kw output.

I don't think HSV have made any wagon specials.

it is series 2 and has been optioned with body kit fe2 clubsport rims

Sounds like a nice car but unless work has been done to the engine (extractors, open exhaust, OTRCA, hi-flo air filter), you will have the 220kw engine.

I think the above is all HSV do to bring the output up to 250kw

HSV made some VT wagons.

27 195i Senators in june 99 and
8 250i VT II Senator Sig's in Oct 2000.

Cost to buy new was $69,950 for the 195i and $71,000 for the 250i.:thumbsup:
