Is this car worth fixing or time to dump it?

vy 2003 commodore v6 ecotec wagon 305,000KM

Air bag light coming on (clock spring)
Car vibrating when accelerating (could be wheel balance, Not sure)
Running through fuel quicker than usual (possible fuel pump or injector issue)
Rear rotors warped
Front shocks squeaking like a banshee when going over speed pumps
Popping sound coming from wheels on cold mornings when turning wheel (cv joint)?
Engine mounts need doing
Transmission fluid needs changing

Body paint fading badly, Scratch on side panel turning to rust. Headlights hazed after polishing numerous times before.

As you can see it needs a lot in repair. The mechanical side alone will probably cost about $2000 to fix, body work add another couple of grant. Surprisingly she still drives ok.

Worth fixing or time to retire the old girl?

Depends if it’s sentimental to you or not, I personally wouldn’t bother

cost is more to fix than what its worth, if theres no sentimental value for you id retire it. the cost alone would get something in better condition.

Any suggestions on a reliable second hand car? I want something with a timing chain, No shitty jatco transmissions or cvt tranny. Everyone says toyotas and hondas but toyotas had a lot of engine oil burning issues especially in the camry, and honda transmissions are glass

What is your budget? With older cars you need to allow yearly budget for repairs and maintaince.

Do you own the VY Wagon orginally mentioned?

There are NINE things you mention in your post.
Have you never fixed things as they happen?
Anything that starts to happen needs to be addressed immediately or it just gets worse as time goes on.
It's really up to you what you do with that car that you have saved so much money on by doing nothing to it for a very long time.
Pity really, because looked after they are a very good solid and reliable car.

To elaborate in the last 3 months Ive had to fix intake manifold gasket leak (slugged $600) New radiator (slugged $600) new water pump (slugged $300) it's been an endless money pit over the last few months everything seems to be happening at once.

yes I own it, and my budget would be around $10,000

If you can fix it yourself, go for it.

At mechanics rates, not really worth it.
