VY Acclaim
Hello guys, I recently brought a Vy Acclaim, and when im driving if i pull it up it just makes the warning noise, but nothing happens
and when im parked it doesn't work if i leave it in drive or reverse!

Is it meant to apply some sort of break like most other cars because it doesn't do anything????

Sounds like it needs adjusting. Loosen off the 10mm nut in the cabin by the handle, then take the rear wheels off. First up, i'd be taking the rotors off to check the condition of the Banksia's, and if they look to have plenty of meat on them, you can just adjust up the shoes.

Easiest way to do that is put the rotors back on and adjust the starwheel through the rubber grommet on the rotor. Adjust it up until the shoes hit the inside of the rotor, then back them off.

I did this a few weeks ago to mine, it not that hard to do. I pulled my calipers and discs off to give it all a good clean inside as mine was not working either, works a treat now.
