Hi
Gota vn s1 auto
-In the mornigs it takes a few seconds to engage D or R and wehter cold or not it always gos into gear with a cluck (whole car moves).
-When driving sometimes it changes with a bit of a jerk, sometimes from 2-3 it kinda grinds a bit and sometimes its really smooth.
-When I plant it it changes around 4500-5000rpm and is ALWAYS really smooth.

Is this normal and also would fluid and filter change help.
also i know one of the transmision mounts needs replacing is this related and is it easy to do.

soz for the long post but jus curious thanks.

I also own a VN s1 and i also have the same problem when my car is cold it takes awhile for it to click into D or R. But when its warm its perfect and no clunking.
It is due for a oil change BAD so that might be the cause.
Change your oil and see how it goes from there

a service is best suited then they can check the components for were ect
and tell you what is needed but im sure a service would make a hell of a diffrence

Yeah a service is the best thing you can do.
But if you are low on cash then try and do as much things your self before you take it in i say.
