Hey guys,

When I plant my foot on the floor, my car takes a lil while to change gears. It doesn't hit the rev limiter, but it revs high. Sometimes I can plant my foot then a second or two later it'll change gears. Sorta feels like a turbo haha!

Both mine do that, (VP+VS). It's like the box has a think about it first before it drops back a gear.

What about with the power button on?

My VN is the same, put your foot down hard to overtake and you end up waiting a second or so for the gear change down then you overtake

my parents just had that problem with their auto mitsubishi van... got the gearbox serviced along with an oil change in the torque converter... worked for them might hopefully give you a cheap option if it works

vs commodore
You can get the auto trans shift and line pressure settings changed in the tune so it shifts quicker and firmer on the full electronic autos.(VR or later).Ive played around with the memcals auto trans settings on my VS and Ive got mine shifting excellent now,way better than it was with the standard settings, heaps quicker and firmer shifts. The box even runs around 10 degrees cooler around town now too, which has got to be a good thing..
