Hey guy's, when i bought my car, none of the air system in it worked. I've taken the air control unit out, and i'm pretty sure something is missing from it. I've managed to get the air blowing 1-4, but the tempretaure knob, and air displacement don't work. I'm pretty sure, i've seen a long metal rod, connected somewhere to the unit when dissmantling a car before. But i can't see one here, or anything that would control the temp. Also, the rubber plug that goes into the back, which i beleive controls the air direction, are they prone to failure? Does any body have any advice for me? And if i do need to replace any items, how much is involved in converting the standard unit to the climate control unit? Thank's guys:thumbsup:

Not that i know of.

In the meanwhile, If you want to adjust your temperature without the rod, you can just manually move the white plug/grommit thingy to the left of your pedals where the rod connects. It moves back and forth.

Hey Rob, well the good news is, i've got the fan blowing, and the air direction now works. I'm not sure what the problem was with the vacuem hose thingy, but i re-crimped all the connections on it , and now it's working fine. But Annarklov3r, i can't find that white plug that controls the temp. I've found a white lever, similar to where you decribed, it only swings about a half inch, either direction, and dosent seem to be changing the temp at all...Maybe i'm playing with the wrong thing??
