hey all... just spoke to the local mechanic and he quoted $300 to install a camber kit on my vt that ill be supplying.. is that any good or is it a bit pricey?.. cheers
Thats about right . remember that labour aswell . a camper cost about the same for 4 new tires 15s so thats about right .
Yeah VT are bad for that once u lower them . i have 18s and i have a VX no camber kit i dont go though tires much at all . aslong as im not going bunouts hahah
that sounds cheap as mate , i got lovells lowered springs and shockies , new strut bearings plus 4 point nolathane kit for $2000 , apparently its a bit of a job to get at the inner bushes they pull everything outta the ass or so they told me, ive been told an average price just to do the 4 point cmaber /toe kit is anywhere from 4 to 6 hours , so at least 100 bucks an hour labour id say youl b doing great for 300 bucks
cheers guys.. i have no idea whats involved and stuff haha.. or what kind of kit i need, the 2 or 4 one lol
is it a 4 point or a 2 point kit your getting fitted, if 2 point i think a little too much as i supply, fit and align a 2 point for $420.00, if a 4 point its a good price.
this is the one... http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/WHITELIN...=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1e7149ca83
you'll need 2 of these kits to do the job properly (it even says this in the ebay ad). $300 is a good price i did this myself on my old VX SS and it is a b*tch.
A 4 point kit is just two 2 point kits. so as above you need to buy two 2 points or one 4 point kit which is just two 2 point kits. get me?
