I’m about to put a deposit down on a gtsr that someone has backed out on...

Manual
Light my fire orange
Spare wheel
Black/suade gear knob
Paint and interior protection
Tinted windows
Car cover
Boot liner

Brand new with basically no kms and not many manuals around
$124 000

Do you guys think this is a good deal??

On the sum of its parts it’s a bloody joke, price you pay is for vanity IMO, so if the shoe fits.

Not everyone wants a modified car, and all the Stuff that comes with it. :)

I personally think it sounds high; yeah I know there aren't many left; and maybe I'm not in a situation to judge what others would pay for what is, as monstar rightly says, costing a lot more than the sum of it's parts.
If you can afford it & would be happy with it, then as long as you look around and check you can't buy another one now for less money, and as long as you accept/admit normal HSV depreciation, why not?

It does not matter what any d1ckh4ad ( myself included) on this forum thinks is a good deal.

If you have the cash, dont need to borrow money to get it and you don't suffer from buyers remorse get it and enjoy it.

Just don't crash it.

If it was kept off the street and never driven it should keep its value or possibly even appreciate...... BUT would you want to have it and not drive it????

Save your money. Personally, I see the gtsr as a 'hero' car as they (like most of their owners) are all about attracting attention.

Personally, I'd buy a VF senator - much more reserved and comfortable and half the price too. Invest the rest in shares.

GTS R is basically the GTS. It's only the W1 that has the LS9.
Can't see the value in the price over a GTS (or LSA Clubby - Senator)
