Hey hey, i just got my P's a couple of week's ago and I'am currently putting in $50 dollar's a week, it is rougthly around 35 litre's i believe. Well anyway i am currently getting around 280km's out of the 35 litre's. My driving style is very very easy on the motor, i hardley ever go over 2500 rpm's. I am mixed between highway/city driving. I occasionaly plant my foot down to get the wheel's spinning :D but i dont do it frequently while im driving. So do you think i am getting good km's for the amount of petrol im putting in my car???

P.S it's a 6 cylinder.

Yer if my math is right (probably isnt) but 280kms / 35L = about 8km/L which is ridiculously good:)

Wow thank's for the reply's i didnt think a 6 cylinder motor of it's age would be doing 8 litre's every 100km's
Just curiosity what is everyone's fuel consumption for a vl, how many km's out of a full tank etc... Thank's again.

hmmmm, looking at what ppl are getting, i think it might be a fault in my odo might move to quick or something,

the factory ltr/100km is 10.5ltr for manual and 11.5 for the auto, right?
so manual with 60 ltr tank should get 571ks
and auto should get 521ks
and give and take for the engine getting old and worn you whould get 500ish i reckon, dose this souund right to every1?

and these ltr/100km are urban, apparntely
