Is this normal vx ss hot exhuast tips

    Never noticed it befor but my exhuast tips get really hot, so hot I can't put my finger on them for more than a second!
    This maybe normal

    I just thought coz it was so far back from the engine it wouldn't get burning hot!

    the exhaust gas is hot, your exhaust it metal, therefore the metal heats up from the exhaust gas.

    yeah i wondered the same thing when i was 4 when i grabbed the chrome exhaust of my dads rx7
