Issue with dash light when accelerating. 2009 VE

Hi everyone,

I've been having trouble with an 09 VE Omega I have owned for a while. What has been happening is whenever I accelerate (sometime light, other times flooring it)
the red dash light for "door open" lights up and so has the overhead light (until I switched it off from lighting up when doors are opened).

This only last a few seconds, maybe 5 seconds at most, but I'm not entirely sure whats happening here, my only idea would be an alternator issue? It only ever happens when I accelerate, but lately it has been happening every time I do so.

Have plugged it in, but no diagnostic data unfortunately.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Have a close look at the door switches. Sounds like you might have a loose connection or a bad earth.

You mean the window switches in the centre console?

no in the door, part of the actuator

Sit in the car with the ignition on and all windows down, get someone to push and pull on each door and see if the light comes on.
