    Hello,
I am after some advice. When I turn my VS off after driving for awhile, it won't start straight away. It is like it is starving for fuel. When I put my foot flat on the accelerator or pump it a few times, it will eventually splutter and start. Black smoke comes out the back. My fiance changed the injectors and put injector cleaner through buy it hasn't helped. The engine light also goes on and off while driving. I have also had this checked but there isn't any errors reading. Could the issue with the not starting have anything to do with the fuel regulator ? Any advise would be greatly appreciated. thanks heaps.

    The engine needs Air,Fuel,Spark.
Check for spark & check fuel pressure.
See if these check out. Do basic testing first. Then you can go from there. Other wise you are just guesing.
