Hi All..
I changed the Battery in my Car after it died and now am having an issue getting it started,
its like it has locked me out..
cant use key at all
so cant open with central Locking
so had to use the key.
key has new Batteries already
when i put key in ignition just comes up with an Error.
an X ... Also a Brake signal
since im not the first person to change my Battery , im was thinking it may have happened to others here...
as i want to disconect for a stereo change later as well..
so may have the problem later on when i disconect it again.
could only find one other thread here..

When you say you can't use the key at all - you can't start it? Does anything at all happen? Have you checked fuses, etc.?

If your car does start, brake/ABS/stability control errors and poor idle are usually symptoms of an ECU reset - especially after changing the battery. Happened to me, took 5 minutes and a spin around the block for it to re-calibrate itself.

Yes .. checked all Fuses..
but have since found that the Car has a secondary alarm.
im not sure if this is causing my issue..
but i have to get the holden alarm to go off to get the car to sync..
but im not sure why a secondary alarm is in the car anyway
