Issues with VL Calais

Hello everyone
Recently purchased a VL Calais and having some problems with it
It idles rough but never dies on idle.. sounds like it has sort of a miss
When driving whenever slowing down at a red light or stop sign, or turning at a low speed the car will just die and turn off, I can then pop it into neutral and start it up again and drive normal until I approach another situation where I have to slow down or come to a complete stop

Oil has been changed, spark plugs, leads
I have sprayed the AFM with cleaner, I've taken apart the dizzy and where the bearing is there is no dust the actual round orange bit is still intact
I've put a full tank of BP98 and run injector cleaner in it and it's still doing it and no mechanic can work it out

Please I need help!!

Dizzy cap and rotor are good ?
Have a look at night in the dark to see if you have any arcing.
Also check and try cleaning the cas plug and socket on top of the dizzy body.

Also try a replacement MAF. Either off another known good vl, or purchase new.

Check/replace the fuel filter too
