I am having problems starting my vl. I washed the engine at dolphin carwash condel park soaking the engine for about 3 minutes on low pressure. I now no that I shouldn't have done that because it broke down one street later. My problem is that I have dried out the dizzy and have been driving it since Saturday afternoon till this morning when it didnt start i have open the dizzi again thinking that it most likely be the problem again but there is no moisture in it at all. I have a feeling that isnt the problem what else could it be? remembering i soaked the whole engine!

Sorry about my spelling :)

ahhhh yep, I had the exact same thing happen a couple of years back. Your problem may not be the same but my guess is, that the power transistor next to the dizzy has fried.

i would bet its the CAS(Crank Angle Sensor) inside the dizzy.. its under the metal plate(Dust Cover)
Power Transistor would be fine man..
Look in my Sig below on how to change or inspect.
Next time u do this. put a plastic bag over the dizzy
