So i just installed my rear 6 x 9's,, pioneer 500 watt speakers.
I'm getting pioneer or alpine splits for the front doors...
The car previously had splits in the back doors too. My QUESTION is: Is it worth getting splits in the back doors or would the rear speakers just over ride this ?

thank yuuu! to who ever helps

Nope, 6 speakers is overkill, especially 4 behind you. It'll just be a loud mess of sound that doesn't blend whatsoever.

If you plan to get a sub/s, it would have been better to get rear door speakers rather than 6x9's. After you hear a GOOD system, you'll realise that 6x9's not only sound very average, they're also mounted in a really stupid location for your listening. Most high end cars will only have front speakers and a sub or subs. You should go to a car audio meet and have a listen to some of the cars :)

Check out my build thread Sammi if your interested in audio. I'll also be there on Saturday night so you can listen in person.

Don't stress about it... If it sounds good to you then that's all that matters. It's just that when you hear better systems it makes yours sound very average and want to upgrade! :)
