Hi all professional sounding guys! I was hoping if anyone can please teach me where to sit my jack stands at the front end of My 2003 VX ex cop car? Many thanks.

Just behind the front wheels on the long rail that runs towards the rear of the car.

I always place mine behind the front wheels and to avoid and slippage I sit the underside rail thingys on some pieces of soft pine timber.
Never had a problem using this method and even when placing the car of all 4 stands its always held tight.

Where did you buy that deep pan from? and what are the benefits of having a deep pan?

I think the series 2's had them as standard, extra oil equals extra cooling and a must when towing.
I Mig welded in the bungs to make the servicing of the transmission a non messy task.
