Nope.....99 year lease
Well all be dead until it expires. At least we have a Government that want to buy it back because of new law just introduced. Yes The Yanks want to build a new port there or close to it for all there military ships and the Chinese are not happy.

A bit of rain I see.

While the wheels off it's a good time to give the inner rims a clean and a wipe over with some sealant if you haven't already done it.

Picked these up at Autobarn today. 25% off plus Staff Family discount on top. Fiddy bucks. Couldn't find any Aussie ones. These made in PRC to AS2538-2017. They'll do.

My other set are Aussie made. By yours truly at TAFE NSW, circa 1985. They've served me well too. But another set at that price was too hard to pass up.
So next weekend she'll be getting the jack. Up the front and the rear. Tattoo on her left tread, garter on her right. This is the car that brings me down. Working day and night. :eek:Swapping back to my FE3 springs on the rear. Will work better than the Kings with the Koni's I reckon. That was my original plan. But my chanic took poetic license. All good i would have added them at some stage any way and then would have had to swap back...
I'll do a full bleed of the brake fluid while I'm at it. Add a full dose of Penrite Super Dot 525°. Need to bleed 2 nipples per caliper. So, it's easier jacked up w wheels off.
AS standards? If it's from PRC it may only be the sticker that meets some standard but likely even that'll fall off at some stage.

As for the stands, they look like the'd be great on a solid axle but where do you use these on an IRS commodore? Side sills?

Yeah mate. Been good rain today. Still T shirt weather though.
I wouldn't have thought to use Wet Dreams for the inner rims. I have a bottle in the car care cupboard. I'll give it a crack.

Oh dear. Thanks for the heads up. I'll take them back and grab some pin type ones.
China!
These were recalled about the time I was looking for some car-stands. I bought some SCA 2 pin type rated at 3000kg which are more fiddly to set.
The ones that you bought could be quiet OK now, but it makes you a bit wary of that ratshit type operation.
