about to service my car for the first time and I want to jack my car up and put jack stands under all four jack stand locations. I have seen this video saying I can jack the front of the car up by K frame (in this video) and I wanted to make sure that it is okay to do so. I have also heard that I would be able to jack the back of the car up by the diff. if any of this is wrong any advice on how to do it properly would be very much appreciated.

Right or wrong, that’s how I have always done it.

I was asking if it was okay to lift it up from that point with the trolley jack and then put the jack stands on where it's recommended on the side skirt area then lift the back up by the diff to place the other 2 jack stands at the rear side skirts. sorry for not making it clear
