Is called Controlled Opposition. Is nothing more than a puppet show. Your owners want you to vote for the same people, so they put people pretending to be idiots. If they win by any chance, they (gov system) are told to abide by the rules.

The only way to make a real change is to dismantle the entite Gov with a wrecking ball, and start brand sparkling new. Not going to happen and people will end up with the same jokers, bitching, pissing and moaning about how they get fücked every day. The people have the power, and they do not want to use it, why? They do not want to get away from the Gov Co through.

So..... vote for anybody, nothing is going to change.

Pretty sure that every flood plain that is, um, flooding, has been a flood plain for thousands of years

I am all for changes to help the environment, but using flooding, in flood zones, as a political baseball bat is ridiculous

And before people complain about how it hasn't flooded like this before, speak to a hydrologist, or geotechnical engineer about it

Science, and what it can tell you about the history of the land speaks the truth

Dig some test pits and do some soil profiling to see what history has to offer

Disclaimer: councils opening up flood plains for residential and commercial buildings is idiotic

People buying in flood plains really need to research what it means to buy a house in a flood plain

Yes they typically are cheaper, but that ain't going to help when your sitting on your roof watching your fridge float out your living room window
