I hope that these self propelled howitzers have a really, really , really long range to reach the home ground of Dan's 'enemies', ie; from Geelong to just over the Murray River.
Hanwha’s K9 Howitzer, got a firing range of up to forty kilometres. Will that be enough?
They must be good coz all those highly militarised countries such as Turkey, Poland, Finland, Norway and Estonia are using them:)

I know your trying to make a joke but....

Army sizes per capita.
Turkey - 11 per 1000
Poland - 4.9
Finland - 45.9
Norway - 11.8
Estonia - 19.8

Mighty Australia - 3.9 + an oat latte

Turkey especially has plenty on its plate to worry about.

Not sure we need a highly mobile howitzer. Unless it can shoot 6000km, I'm not sure what they are going to shoot at....

Better watch out for those Fins!

Poland has a lot on its plate too ATM what with the blackmail from Belarus by using middle eastern refugees as pawns.

”Capitalism. The least worst system we’ve come up with.”
-Me.

Unfortunately we don’t have actual capitalism at all anymore in most western countries(if we ever did have it). We have crony capitalism where governments are completely captured by large corporate interests and do their bidding.

The only counter for strong corporate interests is a strong and ethical government to regulate the corporate sectors tendency to dominate, monopolise and exploit people and the environment.

Hence why the right always calls for smaller government, because they want their buddies in the corporate sector to be able to run roughshod over society and do whatever they want.
