Yes , heard about it this mornng , no one is saying boo about the details , but Clarkson is on his final warning already from the Beeb , apparently his relationship with one of the producers is fraught at the best of times , we wait and see .

They only mentioned the other day that Top Gear will continue for the next two or three years. If they get rid of Jeremy and get a new host, I reckon it'll die a slow death.

Top Gear without Clarkson = fail = political correctness madness

All they need to do is put a disclaimer at the start of each episode and view and opinions and then Clarkson can say what ever he likes.

BBC needs to get over itself.

To me, he is like the arrogant uncle that talks crap; never take him seriously.

If he goes, the Ape will be missed.

However, we have Top Gear USA and that one is a bland, lame ass show. I know the shows/episodes are scripted and fake (as far their challenges and stories) but that one in particular (USA); they make it way too obvious. Does not have the same chemistry of the Ape, Cpt Slow and the Hamster.

Typical pompous middle-aged English numbnut lording it over halfwit lemmings who don't know **** about cars... except for Eurocentric luxury brands and pricing.
Anyone see the short shrift the show gave to the Maloo GTS? Regards non-English, including us in the antipodes, as less civilised pretenders to be English. Like most of the world, thinks Australia was somehow colonised by the English because we speak a language called English.
Suspend the sassonach swine by the goolies, kill the pompous English shame!

they wont sack him, they'll get him to make a tongue in cheek apology (as always) and life will go one, the episode will be aired later to massive ratings.

Haha, you too! Nah mate, case in point, was the British. Like saying NSW forces fought the Japanese in the Second World War. You can make an argument that is statistically correct, but very horribly wrong.

The show would be **** without him. As much as I think he's an arogant dick head every show needs a bad guy. And it always has me in fits watching all the petty little arguments he starts with everyone.

Always makes me smile , when they call the Holden HSV a Vauxhall , with no acknowledgement of its Australian roots .

Welcome to the world of political correctness. We live in an age where no one is allowed to be honest and when someone is honest the politically correct gods stand in judgment and sentence people like Clarkson to eternal damnation

Did you miss the First Fleet discussion in primary school?

    Anyway.

Sounds like he took a swing at a producer. They cant fire him. Top gear is their highest rating draw. They know without him Top gear dies. BBC will try and act tough but in the end just tell him to write an apology letter with a smile and itll be over. Just have to wait a few weeks for the new eps -.-

I won't poke fun at ignorance but It's not an argument, I suspect teacher tell your class dumbed-down porkies and you have yet to realise that Australia was discovered and settled by the British?

History of Australia is a good read, as is the biography of James Cook, which explains his parentage and professional life prior to appointment for the voyage (only narrowly got the job over another Scot at the last minute).
The majority of the people on the First Fleet were British, but there were also African, American and French convicts on board. Three out of the first six Governors were Scots, Port Arthur was patrolled by the Black Watch and various Highland troops.
Without a long diatribe, I live in Brisbane, named after a Scot Governor, Queensland was established by Logan, I work in Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale - both settled by Scots.
If you are in any doubt about Australia being settled by British, not the English, test your theory on St Andrew's day or even St Patrick's day next Tuesday with a t-shirt proclaiming Australia was colonised by the English.
It's a common misunderstanding, mainly from foreigners, who tar all English-speaking Australians as English.
Unfortunately it is precisely because we are colonised by the British as to why we can't just Kill the English.

Wow! That's incredibly daft. You do know England is a country right? And that NSW is a state yeah?

The First Fleet setup the first colony in Australia under the flag and jurisdiction of the British empire but the First Fleet came from England. Portsmouth, England to be precise. So the English colonised Australia under the flag of the British Empire. Primary school education teaches most Australians this.
