VE International 2009
Hey guys, recently brought my 2009 International VE, now I have a bit of an issue.
It isn't major but could turn into something else in the future.

I started noticing that after 20-30 minutes of driving the car would jerk when changing from 1st-2nd gear and higher gears.
This issue was happening randomly and then the check engine light came on in the morning and then turned off later that day.

The issue hasn't happened yet since driving it straight for around 3 hours today and no engine light appeared once.

I tried changing from neutral to drive when holding the brake and I felt the jerk and it was quite noticeable.

I have checked the transmission fluid and it appears to be fine, would you have any thoughts or ever heard of this issue.

Cheers!

How many kms has it done?
It's a good idea to have that transmission serviced PROPERLY each 50,000 kms IMHO.

It has appeared to be fine yesterday and driving today so may have been a temporary thing but will still get it checked out.

And in all fairness I may be exaggerating when it comes to these since I have only really driven a manual so quite uncertain of automatic transmission behaviors and gears etc.

When I first read the title of this thread, I thought "well, that's sensible. Risky doing it on the move....."

(I really need to clean up my act)
