    i have put second hand motor in it runs fine but when it warms up it makes a nocking sound but the nock is not there when its cold could any body tell me what they think it may be it sound like it comes from the back of the motor

    hrmmm without hearing the sound its a lil hard, does it always knock when its warm? does the knocking get worse with revs? any more to help us help u? is it a deep knocking sound? or more like a tap?

    from the brief description u've given, sounds like ur bottom end is shagged.. take the motor back if u have 30 days warranty and say its shagged and they should give u another.

    any more info would be great to help us help u :)

    the nock is up high and only comes in when it gets hot

    the knock sounds high pitched? or its occurs high in the rev range?

    i had problems with my car when i got extractors installed, check your mounts if they are stuff they could be problem or check if engine has dropped or is low.
