just a few simple questions

hey all,
just a couple of questions on various topics.
is a zobel circuit an advantage if i designed my own? are they nessacery for tweeters or just the mid-bass drivers?
also how do the pro's get good staging? how do you hold the tweeter in place while listening and what are some ways to decide which degree you move the tweeter is better or worse than the other (because it can end up all sounding the same after a while).

I've heard old mate blu-tac usually comes in pretty handy when auditioning tweeters in different positions and locations.

To be honest garfa, you really arent asking in the right place, although you might want to make sure the attenuation on your tweeters is down and possibly even disconnect your woofers to find the best staging. Really, these are guesses though.

Got no idea what a zobel circuit is though, can you elaborate?

a zobel circuit is a resistor and cap in series after the x-over in parallel with the speaker wires. it stablises the impedance of the driver. and i wanted to know if the impedance varies in proportion to the power put in to the speaker, and hence it would be more needed with a driver that can handle more power.
12volt is here and so is stone and sometimes kal and atreidae so thats wnough for me.
