Just thought i'd mention with Summer just around the corner , to make sure you all use your sun screen and cover up .I have spent most of my working life out side . I thought sun screen was other people because i had olive skin and didn't need it .But after a trip to the doctors last week for an unrelated problem , i now have 4 stitches in the side if my nose after having a melanoma removed last week .I went to the docs with a sinus problem and he spotted it .It was about the size of a small freckle , i did notice it before but didn't think anything about it . So if you see any unusual blemishes or marks in your skin make sure you get them checked out right away. Something as small is i had ended up with 4 stitches and a scar about 15 mm long .
ive had 4 mole taken off so far... and i was only 17 when it happened, i havnt had anything happen because of it but the moles where a deformed or classed as a risk - whatever they refered to it as, oh ive always warn a hat and sun screen in the sun, ive just got very bad skin good to see you got it off before anything bad happened
Pussies wear sun screen, real men take on cancer! lol Seriously, that's good advice... Although I wouldn't have a clue if something looks bad or not.
Always have slip slop slapped at work, my grandfather had a piece the size of a 50 cent piece cut off his head because of the sun, big yellow bastard!
i got olive skin and i dont fry but i always slip slop slap. great advice. although i live in an office for most of the day now
Craig recently had the same problem...now removed. I have been at him for the last 7 years to get checked but nooo did he listen? Finally get him to MoleScan 4 months ago and he had 1 funky looking one, and 2 that didn't look too good. Went back 3 months later and thats how quickly they can change. Had it removed (about 2cm from his spine). Now we both have check up every 6 months. It honestly takes 15 minutes to get into a Mole Scanning clinic to be checked, and cost us $60 (dont pay again for another 12 months) why not? They will show you how to check and what to look out for, if you have one you think may be suss, take a picture of it to keep an eye on it that way and compare each month....better still get seen.
i got somethin that appeared on my hand a couple months ago that wouldnt be anythin would it. damn u ppl hahaha
