just bought a ve 6.0

    can anyone tell me what is involved in running boost in the 6.0 does everything else cope, and a round about $figure to get it done at a shop

    What setup? How much boost do you wanna run, will you support the FI with other mods.

    Congrats on your purchase, but need a little more info to help properly.

    i dont no anything about motors and have never modified a engine b4 my mate has an fpvtyphoon with 415kw and i basiclly just want to be able to smoke him haha what woul you sugest

    No chance your gonna keep up with your mates typhoon unless you go FI with a fat wallet.

    adding this u could go the N/A motor way by pulling the 6L out ect ect but u will need a even fatter wallet

    One of my mates knows a guy up here and has a big single running 5-6psi with no cam just full zorst ect and he made 415rkw apprently

    So if u added a cam and 8 - 10 pound will easily make more! id imagine single is cheaper for parts and labour too, just more food for thought!

    Take it to Mark's Workshop and get a quote. They've built some serious VE's.

    I've got a big single running 12psi and I'm cracking 424rwkw with a cam, rod bolts, head studs, thicker gaskets ( to drop compression) - this is all on a L98 VE motor.

    There's a fair bit you have to do to make it reliable.
