A Melton local! No skids near my joint!
No idea on leather repair but a dashmat will fix the sun damage!
Try talking to Steve at Taylah Made Exhaust in Collins Rd for lowering and exhaust.
As far as heights go, completely personal preference.
I have the newest version of the Pedders coilovers fitted and the rear is just about as low as it will go, I think the springs are different from the older sets, someone may be able to confirm that though.
No real issues height wise except for the odd large speed humps.
Enjoy the SSV!

The cushion has sagged and gone hard ? See Holden with $$$ in you hand and get a new cushion.
or The leather has sagged and gone hard ? Get some 'Oakwood' leather conditioner, and work it in. Preferably on a hot day, in the sun, so that it soaks in.

nice to see another Melton local on here, Like FIGJAM said use Oakwood leather treatment it will rejuvenate the seat really well and make it soft again so it wont crack, as for the dash just get a dash mat to cover it up and stop the heat soak.

I had a set of Pacemaker headers already fitted and went the DiFilippo twin 3", I already had coilovers purchased from Pedders so the cost was just to fit them. Exhaust was about $2100 from memory.
