    K&N Filter, Panel or Round?

    Hey guys,

Im looking at putting a K&N Air Filter into my VR V6 commodore. Ive currently got a CAI installed. The easy option is a panel filter for $79, but apparently the round pod filters are much better. Is this true?

    What do you guys recommend?

While where on the subject of intakes, are the ebay supersized throttle bodies VN - VR COMMODORE V6/V8 - VS SUPERSIZE THROTTLE BODY - eBay, Engine Modifications, Turbo, Performance Parts, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 06-Feb-08 19:44:13 AEDST) worth purchasing? Will they make much difference to a N/A engine, or S/C?

    Cheers, Errol.

Forget pod filters all they do is suck in hot air form the engine bay, defiently go for a panel filter. Also in regards to the panel filter check out lukey panel filters, I have one and I cannot say a bad thing about it and they are cheaper than the K&N ones.

if you already have a CAI then go the panel filter for sure. do a search on here and you will find heaps of information regarding pods/panels.
